Last year the Belgium Luxembourg Gambia Chamber of Commerce organized three successful webinars on Healthcare, IT/ICT/Telecom & 3D printing sector and COVID19 implications: Opportunities & Challenges with regards of Doing Business in The Gambia & Senegal this in presence among others, Ambassador of The Gambia to Belgium and Belgian Trade Commissioner, Belgium Embassy to Senegal. With a variety of participants from the private and public sector ( in Gambia, Belgium and Luxembourg ).

 

These signs of increased interest in the Business and investment eco framework in The Gambia (and Senegal) are a major drive for organizing a Webinar on “Doing Business in The Gambia: Funding & Investment Opportunities ” on the 25th of March 2021 from 11am (Banjul time) / 12pm (Brussels time) – 13pm (Banjul time) / 14pm (Brussels time) with the theme opportunities for investment in start-ups.

 

This in the presence of, among others, Ondernemers voor Ondernemers/Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs (OVO), StartUp Grind Banjul, EBROSSO LLC, GAIN Gambia and Sellox.

 

During the webinar experts from the private sector will elaborate on funding and investment opportunities in The Gambia/Africa with focus on Gambian/African Start-Up companies.

 

Ondernemers voor Ondernemers/Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs (OVO) will share their experience on guiding African start-ups to be “investment ready”, focus on Senegal and OVO’s SusTech4Africa initiative towards the African diaspora in Belgium, while StartUp Grind Banjul and EBROSSO LLC will share their experience on linkage & guidance for Gambian Start-Ups with focus on diaspora investments. GAIN Gambia will elaborate on their “Angel Investors Network”. Sellox will share their experience as a rapidly-growing start-up and on the e-commerce sector in The Gambia and region.
